Vistera signs 25 small businesses in its first month with fixed-cost access to legal, HR, and finance experts

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Featured this week in The Globe and Mail, the Vancouver company gives owner-led businesses in B.C., Alberta, and Ontario a known price for senior professional advice

VANCOUVER, B.C., October [X], 2026 Vistera Technologies Corp. today announced that 25 small and mid-sized businesses signed on within four weeks of its August 10, 2026 launch. Each client pays a fixed monthly cost or a set price per outcome, with no hourly billing.

The announcement follows coverage in The Globe and Mail, which featured Vistera this week in its Future of Work reporting on what small businesses pay for professional advice. Read the article.

In most small businesses, the owner acts as the legal department, the HR department, and the CFO while also running the company. When a contract needs review or an employee issue escalates, the usual option is an hourly bill with no fixed total.

Owners often put it off. The problem tends to cost more the longer it waits.

"We also noticed that clients would avoid getting legal advice because of the costs."

Aaren Terrett, CEO, Vistera

Vistera gives those owners a price up front. An owner describes the issue to Vero, Vistera's multi-agent orchestration layer, which identifies the discipline and jurisdiction, completes the research, and prepares a first draft. A licensed senior expert from Vistera's Expert Network then reviews the work, applies their judgment, and signs off. Nothing reaches the client without that sign-off.

Clients choose a fixed monthly plan, starting at $1,750 per month, or pay $700 per outcome. An outcome is one completed piece of work signed off by a senior expert.

"I can plan out how much it will cost to review contracts and onboard new employees because it is one flat fee for using Vero."

Royce Sin, Founder, Kinesin

About Vistera

Vistera Technologies Corp. is a Canadian professional services technology platform that gives owner-led businesses same day access to senior legal, HR, and finance experts. Vero, the platform's multi-agent orchestration layer, does the prep work, and a licensed senior expert signs every outcome. Vistera launched August 10, 2026 and serves British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario. Learn more at vistera.ai.

Vistera Technologies Corp. is a technology company, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice. Legal services are provided by Spraggs Law and other independent lawyers and law firms, each regulated by the law society of the province in which they practise. Use of the Vistera platform alone does not create a solicitor-client relationship; that relationship arises only under a retainer between the client and the assigned lawyer or firm.
